My Passion for Healthcare

I became interested when I met and rotated with a mentor who was a pediatric surgeon. I Knew I wanted to be a surgeon, but I found that the ultimate in compassion, grace was exemplified by a pediatric surgeon. And I wanted to be a part of that field. Interacting and caring for a child can lead to great satisfaction. I consider it an honor when a family trusts me with the care of their child.

My Clinical Focus

I am passionate about pediatric surgery and pediatric trauma. I enjoy all aspects of taking care of a child. I am also interested in improving surgical quality nationally.
